BC Personal Supports Network

December 4th, 2010

The BC Personal Supports Network is a network of disability- focused organizations who want to improve access to personal supports for people with disabilities – this includes everything from equipment and assistive devices, to sign-language interpreters and attendants. The network uses a person-centered approach that begins with a person’s goals and offers assistance to find needed supports. The BC Personal Supports Network has recently introduced it’s first project, the Equipment and Assistive Technology Initiative (EATI). The EATI provides funding for assessment, trialing, purchasing, training and repair with equipment and assistive devices that help people with disabilities reach their employment-related goals. For more information on the BC Personal Supports Network and the EATI please visit their website: www.bcpsn.org.
