CLBC supports Kamloops Disability Awareness Week

June 17th, 2015

CLBC congratulates the City of Kamloops and community organizations for their efforts to build awareness around inclusion and accessibility from May 25 to 29.

The week aimed to educate and inform the public about a variety of disabilities and raise awareness towards inclusion and access for all. The City of Kamloops signed a proclamation declaring Disability Awareness Week and inclusive employer and employee teams were celebrated throughout the city.  Local CLBC staff celebrate the hard work and dedication of people in Kamloops to increase employment opportunities for those in their community.
