The BC People First Society (BCPF) is a non-profit provincial organization that is part of a national movement. We work to make sure that people with a developmental disability are respected and included in communities as full citizens. We do this by supporting each other to speak up for ourselves and others. Our vision is a diverse community where all people are: included and involved; honoured and respected; seen for their abilities, and supported to participate. Our values are freedom, choice, respect, dignity and inclusion.

We are an organization run by and for people who are labeled with a disability. Join us for a presentation to learn more about BC People First, what we do and how to get involved. You will also learn more about the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and YOUR rights.
