FASD and Autism (Personalized Supports Initiative)

CLBC introduced the Personalized Supports Initiative (PSI) to provide services and supports which are separate from the CLBC services for individuals with developmental disabilities, and focuses on adults who have both significant limitations in adaptive functioning and either a diagnosis of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The regulatory change for CLBC eligibility criteria took effect on January 31, 2010 making this distinct new group of adults eligible to receive supports from CLBC.
