Since children develop within the context of their families as well as their communities, collaboration by everyone who plays a support role is required.
CLBC provides a range of early intervention and support services for more than 8,600 children and youth with special needs and their families.
These programs and services help maximize growth and potential while assisting families as caregivers in many different ways.
Our first priority is to do what’s best for families. Part of that commitment is to provide you with the best information we can.
We’ve gathered material and links that will assist you in making your way through the system of programs, services and supports.
CLBC and the Ministry of Children and Family Development are working together to support children and youth with special needs and their families.
Some children and families will access services from both CLBC and MCFD.
