Apply for positions

CLBC staff membersApplication Process

Welcome to CLBC's online application and interview process.

Note: Candidates applying for a Facilitator, Quality Service Analyst, Contracts Clerk or Team Assistant position must fully complete this online process in order to be considered for positions with CLBC. Internal candidates are not required to complete an on-line application for their own position (e.g. Facilitator for a Facilitator posting).

This is the first stage of our recruitment process. It walks you through steps that allow you to:

• Assess which position best suits your interests and capabilities

• Indicate which work location(s) you prefer

• Provide information about your education and experience

• Complete a behavioural interview that will help CLBC understand how your qualifications line up with the competency requirements of the job

Please take your time in completing this phase of the process. All experience counts - work, volunteer, and personal. Choose your best example for each question and be as clear and comprehensive as you can by providing details about your role in the situations that you are describing.

Please note that if you are applying for a particular posting, make sure your online application is fully completed and that you have sent an e-mail, quoting the competition number in the subject line, to MCF.CLBCHumanResources@gov.bc.ca by the posting deadline.

If there’s no posting, you can still apply; there’s no deadline involved. Simply tell us which position and locations interest you and continue to monitor the postings on our website.  When you see a posting that fits your needs, send an e-mail, quoting the competition number in the subject line, to MCF.CLBCHumanResources@gov.bc.ca.

If you are successful at this stage, you will be invited for a telephone or an in-person interview where you will have an opportunity to provide more information about yourself and receive information from us about the CLBC employment experience.

Both the online application and the interviews allow us to pre-qualify you for up to one year as either a Quality Service Analyst, a Facilitator, a Contracts Clerk or a Team Assistant (or all four) in our service delivery line of business.

Thank you for your time, effort, and interest in competing for an employment opportunity with CLBC. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us at
MCF.CLBCHumanResources@gov.bc.ca or by phone at 604-664-0196.
