Help us make your community stronger
CLBC Community Councils have a dynamic mission to encourage, inspire, lead and support inclusion and the participation of people with developmental disabilities in all aspects of the community where you live and work.
The Central and Upper Island (CUI) Community Council, together with CLBC staff and managers, enhances the creation of safe environments, improves access to community resources and acknowledge the gifts and contributions of people with disabilities. In addition, they help develop and promote creative solutions which improve community access and inclusion.
Members include individuals with developmental disabilities, family members, professionals from service provider agencies and business and community leaders.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact CLBC’s Nanaimo Office.
