Surrey Delta White Rock Community Council

Members of the Surrey Delta White Rock Community Council at the Ladner May Days Parade.

Help us make your community stronger

CLBC Community Councils have a dynamic mission to encourage, inspire, lead and support inclusion and the participation of people with developmental disabilities in all aspects of the community where you live and work.

The Surrey Delta White Rock (SDWR) Community Council has partnered in events that bring awareness to inclusive employment practices, providing input into CLBC’s three-year employment strategy, conducting consultations to inform CLBC’s aging strategy, and contributing to improvements to CLBC’s system of supports, as well as the way it works with Councils.

Members include individuals with developmental disabilities, family members, professionals from service provider agencies and business and community leaders.

Interested in joining the Surrey Delta White Rock Community Council?

The SDWR Council is looking for new members to join as we strive to break down barriers associated with disability and help make a difference in the lives of the people CLBC serves in the Surrey, Delta and White Rock area.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact: SurreyDeltaWhiteRock@CLBCCommunityCouncils.ca
