CLBC Board is looking for 4 new Members

Community Living BC (CLBC) is currently looking for 4 new Board Members to join our Board and start terms on January 1, 2025.

CLBC’s Board governs the overall way CLBC does its work. This includes responsibilities like approving our strategic plan and making sure that CLBC is making a difference through the services and supports it funds.

Experience and Qualifications

We are seeking applicants with experience in Finance and Accounting, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Governance and Strategic Planning. However, we invite applicants with a wide range of backgrounds and experience to apply. Generally, CLBC looks for Board Members who have:

  • experience and knowledge related to running a large organization and/or
  • an understanding of community inclusion, self-advocacy and the system of services and supports for adults who have a developmental disability.

Additionally, CLBC Board Members are required to live within B.C.

The deadline to apply is April 24, 2024.
