We are thrilled to share with you that CLBC has recently been honoured as one of BC’s Top Employers.
Winners of the Top Employer Awards have been announced in a special publication here as well as in the Vancouver Sun newspaper.
We are humbled by this award and grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting inclusion in communities across BC!
For the third year in a row, CLBC has been named as one of BC’s Top 100 Employers. This special designation recognizes the employers in British Columbia that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.
A few of things that made CLBC stand out to the judges were the maternity and parental leave top-up benefits provided to employees, the large number of long-serving staff, and that our board consists of 50 per cent women.
In particular, our approach to cultural safety is what drew Frankie Abel here. She’s part of CLBC’s Indigenous Relations team, and works to help bridge the gap between Indigenous communities and CLBC. You can read her thoughts in this article published February 13 in the Vancouver Sun.
