Today marks United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities (#IDPWD) focusing on the theme: “Building Back Better: Toward a disability-inclusive, accessible and sustainable post COVID-19 world.”
"The COVID-19 pandemic has amplified the challenges that many people with disabilities have in accessing health care, education, employment and participating in the community. This year’s theme recognizes the importance of ensuring that the world we all create once the pandemic ends is one that better addresses these challenges and includes everyone in their communities," says CLBC CEO Ross Chilton
