Compliance Auditing – Guidance for Service Providers

Monitoring of contracted services is a collaborative process between Community Living BC and service providers that respects and strengthens the shared commitment to the quality of services being provided.

In accordance with Section 9 of Community Living BC’s (CLBC) Service Terms and Conditions, and provincial government accountability requirements, periodic on-site compliance audits are conducted each year on a sample of service providers. Compliance audits help to assess whether a service provider meets the financial terms for the services set out in their contract.

In 2023, CLBC strengthened the process for compliance audits, and as part of this work, is providing clearer communications and materials to support service providers to understand compliance audits. Below are guidance documents, FAQs and other resources to support service providers.
