    Community Councils are run by volunteers who work with CLBC and community partners to support the inclusion, citizenship and full participation of people with developmental disabilities. They share in the CLBC vision: Communities of belonging, lives with connection.

  • How Community Council volunteers make a difference

    Council volunteers make a difference in cities and towns across B.C. by strengthening the ability of communities to be welcoming and inclusive of all people.

  • Join a Community Council

    Want to join a group creating positive change in their community? Councils offer meaningful volunteer positions for family members, businesspeople, self-advocates, college students, people starting their careers, seniors, retirees and those looking to connect with others.
