In 2020, Stage 2 Recovery Plans were needed to support service providers to incorporate requirements from multiple organizations for the re-opening of services after the initial wave of COVID-19.
Over the last two years, service providers have shown their caring, dedication to, and awareness of, Provincial Health Orders and WorkSafe guidance to protect individuals’ and their staff’s health. With this dedication in mind, and the gradual removal of COVID-19 restrictions by the Provincial Health Office, CLBC is removing the requirement for Stage 2 planning.
While Stage 2 planning is no longer a requirement, CLBC is highlighting that the Provincial Health Order related to the vaccine mandate for staff working with individuals served by CLBC remains in place. CLBC is not aware of any anticipated end date for the vaccine mandate.
