Request for Qualifications (RFQs)

RFQ re-opening extended to June 1, 2026

Community Living BC (CLBC) has extended the pause on accepting submissions under the Request for Qualification (RFQ 590) and will be reopening June 1, 2026.  This extended pause will not impact Indigenous Vendors, who can continue to submit applications.

Why is CLBC extending the RFQ pause?

CLBC is exercising the right to extend or adjust RFQ dates in accordance with applicable provincial procurement process. Due to operational capacity and the need to align internal processes that support the RFQ framework, CLBC is extending its pause the intake of new RFQ submissions.

This pause reflects work being completed to strengthen and refine our qualifications requirements, allowing CLBC to engage with the highest quality vendors in support of the individuals we serve.

What does this mean for current service providers?

  • This extension does not affect pre-qualified service providers’ existing qualifications.
  • Providers wishing to become qualified for new services or service areas will not be able to do so until the RFQ process reopens on June 1, 2026.
  • If you are a pre-qualified service provider or currently providing CLBC contracted services and you are concerned that this will impact services that you are currently providing, please contact your CLBC analyst for support.
  • Service providers who were preparing to submit qualifications under RFQ 590 are asked to pause any new submissions at this time as there will be changes to the RFQ 590.
  • This pause does not apply to Indigenous service providers.
  • All RFQ submissions received prior to March 2025 will be held until the review process resumes on June 1, 2026.
  • CLBC will provide further information and guidance when the updated RFQ process is scheduled to reopen.
