Office of the Advocate for Service Quality 2024/25 Annual Report Now Available

Since 1991, the independent Advocate for Service Quality has supported persons with an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD) and their families to help resolve disagreements and misunderstandings involving Community Living BC (CLBC) and other organizations such as health authorities. B.C.’s Advocate for Service Quality reports directly to the Minister of Social Development and Poverty Reduction.

In a continuing spirit of transparency and supporting public understanding, Community Living BC is pleased to share this link to the 2024/25 Annual Report of the Office of the Advocate for Service Quality (OASQ).

CLBC recognizes and welcomes the independent, external accountability provided by the Advocate’s office. The Advocate’s commitment to working with CLBC and other agencies is important in identifying gaps and highlighting how understanding and collaboration can help supported individuals to be fully included in their communities.
