The B.C. government has introduced legislation to provide the tax-free B.C. Recovery Benefit. This one-time payment provides up to $1,000 for eligible families and single parents, and up to $500 for eligible individuals.
The benefit will help support British Columbians who are dealing with the pressures of COVID-19. The new recovery benefit is not automatic, you will need to apply. Applications open December 18.
