It was a pleasure to welcome Minister Sheila Malcolmson, to the CLBC Provincial Advisory Committee (PAC) quarterly meeting this past Saturday, October 18th!The PAC is made up of self advocates and family members from each of CLBC’s 12 Community Councils. In celebration of Community Inclusion Month, members shared powerful stories of inclusion, from 17 years of meaningful employment to promoting disability pride through the new film A Place Where We Belong.
Minister Malcolmson spent the morning listening to successes and challenges from across the province and learning about the PAC’s important role in advising the CLBC Board on key goals and priorities.
