CLBC funding for 2025-26 explained

After consulting with its advisory committee, Community Living BC (CLBC) has created a new budget graphic to help explain to people and families served by CLBC how funding for the current fiscal year will be spent.

In early March 2025, the provincial government announced  new funding for CLBC, to assist in meeting the growth of new people coming to CLBC this year.

CLBC makes decisions on how to spend new funds based on key priorities, which include:

  • those who most urgently need help,
  • newly registered adults, and
  • young people moving from youth to adult services.

As the demand for CLBC services is growing faster than the population is growing, CLBC is unfortunately not able to immediately meet all requests for services. Please contact a CLBC regional office for more information if you are a new applicant, or are requesting additional services.
