On October 7, 2025, the Home Sharing Support Society of BC (HSSSBC) hosted its annual Home Sharing Provider (HSP) Awards to recognize the dedication and impact of home sharing providers across the province.
The virtual event brought together service providers, supported individuals, and community partners to celebrate the vital role home sharing plays in fostering independence and inclusion for people with developmental disabilities. The Home Sharing Provider Awards recognize providers across British Columbia who offer safe, welcoming, and person-centred support. These awards honour the care, commitment, and positive impact that help create communities where people can thrive, while celebrating the strength of the home sharing community and encouraging continued growth in connection and support.
CLBC’s CEO, Ross Chilton, had the pleasure of attending and presenting the Home Sharing Provider of the Year Award. CLBC is proud to join HSSSBC in celebrating this year’s award recipients and all home sharing providers who help ensure adults with developmental disabilities can live full lives as valued members of their communities.
