A big thank you to our incredible CLBC Community Council members! 👏This morning, five dedicated members from across B.C. came together at the BC Non-Profit Housing Association’s Housing Central Conference to lead the Community Councils Advance Inclusive Housing session.
They shared powerful lived experiences, innovative ideas, and practical ways to keep inclusive housing moving forward for people with developmental disabilities across BC. Attendees walked away inspired by real stories of challenges overcome and successes achieved—proof that together, with our community partners, we can make sure everyone has the opportunity for a home of their own.

On October 7, 2025, the Home Sharing Support Society BC (HSSSBC) hosted its annual Home Sharing Provider (HSP) Awards to recognize the dedication and impact of home sharing providers across the province. 👏CLBC’s CEO, Ross Chilton, had the pleasure of attending and presenting the Home Sharing Provider of the Year Award. CLBC is proud to join HSSSBC in celebrating this year’s award recipients and all home sharing providers who help ensure adults with developmental disabilities can live full lives as valued members of their communities.
