Periodic Report for Employment (PRE) Toolkit
Introduction
The Workforce Development Agreement (WDA) provides funding for CLBC employment services. In April 2020, Employment Services began to collect mandatory information that is reported to the provincial and federal government on a quarterly basis as a requirement for receiving WDA funding. Information gathered also helps CLBC and service providers strengthen employment services (Continuous Quality Improvement).
The Periodic Report for Employment (PRE) is the tool that collects this important information; The Secure File Transfer System (SFTS) is the only way providers can submit reports to CLBC, as the SFTS safeguards personal information that is collected.
Here you will the information and resources you need to complete and submit your Periodic Report for Employment through the Secure File Transfer Service.

Privacy and Data Collection
With the WDA, the federal government has added four mandatory fields for completion: legal first and last name, home address, date of birth and social insurance number. The PRE also contains numerous other personal information questions and data metrics.
The resources in this section are designed to support conversations with individuals and families about the WDA and CLBC information requirements, and to provide tools to support people’s understanding of consent before information is collected.
